Santa & Sons was established in 1983 by Mark and Patricia Rohlfs. We are a family owned and operated small farm, and Christmas trees are our only business.
What is your primary product or service?
Noble Fir, Grand Fir, Nordmann Fir and Douglas fir Christmas trees.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Mark started out in 1976 working on the shearing crew at a local Christmas tree farm while attending Oregon State University College of Forestry.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Santa & Sons is a SERF certified sustainable farm and a member of the Coalition of Environmentally Conscious Growers. Our focus is providing fresh Christmas trees of unparalleled quality for retailers, garden centers and independent Christmas tree lots.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Our Christmas tree lot at Los Angeles Valley College in the San Fernando Valley is our only retail location. We distribute wholesale Christmas trees to Southern California from that location. Santa & Sons also ships wholesale Christmas trees nationwide direct from the Oregon farm in truckload quantities.
